WORKDAY JUNE 12 – Sara Hite Rose Garden

Good Morning Dear Gardeners!

Our wonderful friend, Harry Landers, is looking for help tomorrow morning, from 10 am – noon at the Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden. Many of us just visited Harry’s amazing home garden yesterday, when he generously shared so many wonderful stories with us about his experiences and how he developed his lovely garden oasis.

Harry now manages the Sara Hite Memorial Rose Garden and would sincerely appreciate any help we can offer in helping to deadhead the roses in this gorgeous garden.  Please join us for whatever time you can spare… it goes so much faster, and is a lot more fun, when we are all working together!

The address is 5440 SE Kellogg Creek Dr. in Milwaukie.  When you first drive into the parking lot, you can go straight, left, or right… turn into the left parking lot and you will see the Rose Garden on the left.

Bring your gloves, a pruner, and a bucket. Perhaps a hat!  You don’t need to know “how” to prune roses… Harry will explain!

Hope to see you there!   Wendy
