Camellia Festival and Run/Walk: April.  Newberg hosts this festival dedicated to the city’s official flower,the camellia. You can also slip on running shoes for the 5K and 10K run/walk event, or enjoy a wide assortment of performing artists. Chehalem Cultural Center, 415 E Sheridan St, Newberg, OR

Florence Rhododendron Festival: mid-May. The May weekend is a lavish celebration with a “Rhody Days” parade, car show, arts and crafts fair, a 5K run, carnival and of course, lots of rhododendrons. Keizer Iris Festival: mid-May At Schreiner’s Iris Gardens, more than 500 varieties of irises bloom on 10 acres! The Iris Festival is just one part of a community-wide KeizerFEST. Hood River Lavender Daze Festival: July. It’s a feast for the senses. Annual Dahlia Festival: last weekend of August and Labor Day weekend. Forty acres of diverse dahlias (many of which were first cultivated here) as well as a full spectrum of 15,000 cut blooms set in 400 unique and inspiring floral arrangements.
